Samsung latest smartphone Galaxy Alpha smartphone launched in India. The latest Galaxy Alpha, which comes with a metal frame around a plastic body, will be available in India first week of October and price will be Rs. 39,990.
The latest Samsung Galaxy Alpha runs the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. Main features of this smartphone is 4.7-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display. Galaxy Alpha sports dimensions of 132.4×65.5×6.7mm and weighs 115 grams.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha is powered by an octa-core chipset, with 2GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage but one draw back is you cant upgrade the storage via SD card. The Galaxy Alpha sports a 12-megapixel rear camera and also includes 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. This device has 1860mAh bater power.
Connectivity options avalable in Samsung Galaxy Alpha include Micro-USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G/ LTE, and NFC. Samsung says the Galaxy Alpha is compatible with 4G/ LTE bands in India. The Galaxy Alpha also comes with fingerprint scanner and heart rate monitor.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha at launch will be available in India in Charcoal Black, Dazzling White and Frosted Gold colour variants. This smartphone is unveiled in August 2014.
