Samsung on 30th September has officially launched the new smartphone Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime in India at Rs. 15,499.
Samsung is touting the Samsung Galaxy Grand for its 85 degree wide angle lens on the 5-megapixel front facing camera, while there is an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera also onboard.

This is dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) smartphone. This smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and pack a 5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) PLS TFT display. This smartphone has a 1.2GHz quad-core (unknown chipset) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Grand Prime includes 8GB of internal storage with microSD card support (up to 64GB). On the connectivity front the smartphone includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, GLONASS and 3G. The smartphone will feature a 2600mAh battery. It measures 144.8×72.1×8.6mm and weighs 156 grams.
