Sony on Thursday (19 March 2015) launched it’s first ‘SIM-free’ smartphone in Japan Sony Xperia J1 Compact and has been proced at JPY 59,184 (approximately Rs. 30,000).

The display of the smartphone is 4.30 inches of screen size with 720×1280 pixels of resolution. The smartphone supports a 20.7-megapixel of rear camera and a 2.2-megapixel of fornt facing camera with a LED flash.

The operating system of this smartphone is Android 4.4 with HTML support. The processor of the device is 2.2GHz quad-core while the processsor maker is Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. The internal storage of the device is 16GB which could be further be expandable via microSD card.

From the connectivity option it includes 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC. With a 2300mAh non-removable battery, the Sony Xperia J1 Compact (D5788) weighs 138 grams and measures 128x65x9.7mm.
